Why I Go To Work Everyday?

I love sitting down with people and helping them plan their goals. I love hearing what they want to do with their time after they stop working, and seeing them pursue their goals is why I go to work every day. I really enjoy working with plan sponsors and getting to know their employees.

How Did I Get Here?

I started in financial services immediately after graduating from DePauw University with a degree in Economics. I started as a Financial Advisor working with individuals, and after three years, joined Compensation Systems, Inc. Working with retirement plans was a great fit for my personality. I have earned my Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF, and Certified 401(k) Professional, C(k)P, designations.

Why I Care About This Industry?

Qualified retirement plans have become an essential part of people’s financial lives. With defined benefit pension plans becoming increasingly rare, 401(k) and 403(b) plans are necessary vehicles to allow people to save for retirement. Even for people who are not concerned about retiring, the habit of saving money on a regular basis is critical to developing good financial habits.

Who I Really Am . . .

I am married to an Indiana University graduate who teaches Special Education. We have twins, a boy and a girl. We spend our time traveling, going to sporting events and taking our kids to the zoo and Children’s Museum. I have had the opportunity to volunteer with the Junior League of Indianapolis and serve on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of DePauw University.
